i wish that the race could be called by the actual announcer at the track rather than the NBC employed announcer. real announcers are way better at calling the race than they are

I liked Baeza. I thought he was great value being once he got passed by Journalism in the Santa Anita Derby, he never gave up any more ground after that. I thought he could turn the tables. My actual bet I ended up making on the K derby, because I didn't know where to go vertically…ended up being $50 to show on each of these 4: Baeza, Journalism, Citizen Bull, East Avenue. Bet cost me $200. My winnings were $302 total, for a $102 profit. Citizen Bull ran too fast and probably not good enough. I thought maybe if he could run 23+ and 47+ he'd end up staying. East Avenue simply isn't good enough. Odds were high, and I though just mayyyyybe he could return to the form he was back when he was the Derby favorite.
