Frimpong is more similar to Bradley than Trent, and I think Slot will want that. But remains to be seen how well Frimpong would do in a back 4. He is versatile enough to even cover RW though.

14. Frimpong is definitely above Bradley. For the last 3-4 seasons, he has registered 10+ assists, quite similar to Trent. So, I think he is a natural replacement. My slight concern is that he plays in a 3-4-3 formation, so he needs to adapt to LFC style of play.

38. Connor is still a project at 21. He will if he continues to develop be first choice but maybe in the next year or two. In the meantime we need someone who can come in straight away and fill the gap or at least act as a backup. Imagine Connor learning his attacking role from Frimpong and defensive role from VVD… hopefully he learnt his passing/ball striking from TAA before he leaves? Chefs kiss!
