Eberechi Eze fired Crystal Palace to their first ever trophy with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
Palace ended their long wait for silverware and have qualified for the Europa League when Eze struck in the 16th minute before goalkeeper Dean Henderson escaped a red card for handball and then saved Omar Marmoush’s penalty in an action-packed first half.
The VAR deemed Henderson hadn’t denied a clear goalscoring opportunity when he palmed the ball away from Erling Haaland after referee Stuart Attwell had allowed play to continue.

Generational talents 1-0 oil money
This is the kind of thing you'd see on fifa but fair play to Palace. Celebrate it
Millwall might be my favorite team in England and i dont like to say this , but well done Crystal Palace!
I just really hate man city alot
Nice to see a team winning the FA Cup and it meaning so much. Well done Palace from Portsmouth.
Cheating palace should be ashamed, and the Ref and VAR need investigating cheating idiots

What a fantastic year for Newcastle, Palace and Liverpool FC! Lets hope we can add Spurs to this list, and Real Betis!
Dean handled the ball outside the box 115 times today.
Congratulations to CT palace for winning the FA cup

Crystal palace have better season than arsenal
What has happened this season. Major teams falling from grace. It's great to see egos are being beaten by teams that play team football.
But why is the FA cup being played before season has finished?
The fact man united or tottenham and crystal palace gets champions league football and city could get europa league football
first trophy in 119 years….?! I can't believe it! Congrats from Frankfurt
Seeing that big, rubbery goblin bottle taking the penalty only for Marmoush to then miss it was perfection
Congratulations for Palace
Really good and almost 100% attacking game by Manchester City. But the football side of the pitch proved that even "clumsy" can beat the "king". Of course, in such a tense game, the penalty kick must be left to the most experienced player. I believe that KDB would have happily put it in. But still. MC showed a very good and attacking game. Despite the final result, MC is a much higher level team than the ball boys who won the cup today.
Well done, enjoy it
If Palace New Castle and Bologna can win trophies so can Spurs. Even Kane won a trophy.
You’ve got the White Horse final, the Ardiles final and now the Humble final.
Stay humle eh?
Super Palace

This year of soccer is crazy for every cup competitions
Crystal Palace
Bologna FC
Go Ahead Eagles
Newcastle United
VFB Stuttgart/Arminia Bielefeld
Aah so good that city didnt win
Man of the Match has to be Dean Henderson the Crystal Palace goalkeeper.
Brilliant saves.
Congratulations to Crystal Palace, a fully deserved win,
Newcastle winning a trophy after more than half a century defeating Liverpool

)

)
Palace winning their first ever major trophy defeating City
Bologna winning their first trophy in decades defeating Milan
Harry Kane breaking the trophy curse (and still getting a plate
16th and 17th position teams in a european final ( especially Tottenham
GOAT carrying betis to a european final whereas Mighty Spanish teams failing to do so
Unpredictable UCL FINAL
This is the closest season we've had to 2004 ( where Arsenal won the PL

)
Well done Palace.
Eze so good. This is why this cup is so great, moments like this. Pep is such a little baby, you would think all that money and all those trophies would make him a little more gracious in defeat, but instead his true colours come out.
So happy for crystal…from lfc fan
Moment of silence for any fan who missed the first trophy in the club's history!
Hilarious
United/Tottenham will win more trophies than City this season.
VAR corruption at it again.
Officials cheating again and trying to make excuses
Who's staying humble now eh haaland
?
First ever trophy- congratulations Palace!

It was great to see palace win, but I really don’t understand how the keeper wasn’t shown a red card. I’m glad he wasn’t and he had a brilliant game.. but VAR once again stinks of corruption.
As a Manchester United fan, it's a big congratulations from me to Crystal Palace
Man Utd sold Henderson for Onana!

Football won, however Dean Henderson should have been sent off, because Haaland would have scored if not for Dean swiping the ball with his hands outside of the area and not called by the ref,nor v a r which is atrocious ,it encourages cheating
