A Manchester United fan group has announced plans for a protest march to mark 20 years of the Glazers’ ownership of the club.
The family bought the Red Devils in May 2005 and have often faced backlash from the club’s supporters over the direction of the club, which has not won a Premier League trophy in 12 years.
The 1958 fan group-led protest will be held before the Aston Villa home game on May 25, Man Utd’s final match of the 2024/25 season.
In a statement, they said: «The club is drowning in over £1bn of debt, our fanbase is fractured and divided, and our stadium neglected.
«Old Trafford, once the Theatre of Dreams, is crumbling from decades of neglect.
«Make no mistake — this is the legacy of the Glazer family: greed, decay and betrayal.»
Man Utd have declined to comment.

Geovani Quenda signed by Chelsea, Victor Gyokeres is about to sign for Arsenal, Jeremy Frimpong is on his way to Liverpool. These were teams that did better in the League this season, recruiting quality players already, while united are busy whining and chasing shadows.
The worst thing the so called Glazers has done to the fans was not allowing Sheikh Jassim to buy United.
And I strongly think that fans should boycott ticket purchase and attending games next season. Let them run into debt, than they will leave.
United fans very brave to stage a protest at Old Trafford back in 2021 and lucky to get away with it. After watching what happened to Ghorman in Star Wars Andor Season 2…. And the Glazers are still in charge.

Honestly speaking these protests are just useless, the only way to make The Glazers listen is to hit them financially by boycotting games with empty stadiums and refrain from buying merchandise but that will never happen because there's too much faction amongst us as Utd fans yet we want the same thing for the club.
